Matson’s service to Hawaii, Guam and Micronesia is a key component of the distribution systems for island businesses, allowing customers to rely on the company’s dependable vessel schedules to continually replenish inventories from distribution centers located on the U.S. Mainland.

In recent years, Matson has expanded its reach in the Pacific to include expedited transpacific services from China to California. Matson’s China - Long Beach Express offers weekly service from Hong Kong, Yantian, Xiamen, and Ningbo to Southern California, as well as twice weekly service from Shanghai.

Jardine Shipping Services is appointed as the exclusive general agents for Matson in the South East Asian countries including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia and India, with effective 1st July 2011.
